The creators of the SoMa Streat Food Park are back with there 2nd venture called Spark Social. This new event space/ food truck park features fire pits sprinkled throughout the park for people to socialize, eat, and even roast s'mores.

SoMa Streat Food Park came to Plinth in the beginning of their new project to create a website for Spark and help flush out the branding. After 15 Successful Years, Ozumo Comes to Plinth for a Brand Re-Fresh

Ozumo has been an institution in San Francisco's culinary scene for 15 years which is an eternity in todays ultra competitive restaurant business. Ozumo has grown to include a location in Oakland and other concepts in Southern California.

Ozumo came to Plinth because they wanted to give their website a new look and feel. After meeting with Ozumo, we realized that this growing company needed more than a new look, they needed to establish who they were as a brand.

Communicating the New Brand Online

After our brand exploration, we discovered that Ozumo was no longer just about serving "Contemporary Japanese Cuisine". Ozumo has grown to offer so much was a more than food, they were a complete indulgent experience. Now they needed their branding to reflect that.

To communicate Ozumo's new brand we crafted a new tagline, design language, website, and commissioned a shareable video that payed homage to Ozumo's history while moving their brand forward.

Sugar And Spun is transforming cotton candy from a seasonal treat to an everyday luxury with their brand of all natural artisanal cotton candy.  They came to Plinth to refresh their brand and build a new e-commerce website that would set them apart from their competitors and appeal to the largest part of their core clientele...women.

We changed their base color to black to allow colors to pop rather than mix together. This new color way serves to separate their product on shelves and reinforces their more adult oriented flavors.

Since a large portion of Sugar And Spun’s clientele happen to be female, we wanted take what worked in cosmetics, which is bright pop colors off of black.
