Cassava opened a year ago to bring an artisan cafe experience of 3rd-wave coffee and Michelin Star quality food to the Outer Richmond. After hosting a series of successful chef tasting dinners, the owners with the help of enthusiastic customers turned investors expand their space to make Cassava into a full blown restaurant. To complete their vision of a Parisian style cafe, Plinth helped Cassava use Kickstarter to fund a new heated out door patio.
To tell a compelling story, a stylized video showing candid shots of the cafe, the food, their clientele, and their inspiration was developed.
